PRIVACY POLICY

Project Freedom takes your trust, and your privacy, very seriously. Our privacy policy outlines for you the type of information we gather, and how we use that information. Project Freedom gathers two types of information:

1. Contact information, which you provide when requesting information from us. This includes name, address, telephone, fax and email address information.

2. Usage information, which is automatically provided by each user’s browser for each page requested on our site (commonly referred to as web site log data).

Contact Information

This data is used for the purpose of contacting persons interested in Project Freedom and answering inquiries received from the web site. For those persons interested in a lift, the information may be shared with our partners. The information will not be used for advertising or direct mail purposes and Project Freedom will not disclose any individual user’s name, address, e-mail address or telephone number without such user’s prior consent, except to the extent necessary or appropriate to comply with applicable laws.

Non-personally identifiable information collected automatically

For each visitor to www.projectfreedommi.org, our Web server automatically recognizes your domain, the type of Internet browser you are using, the type of computer operating system you are using, and the domain name of the Web site from which you linked to our site. This non-personally identifiable information is collected automatically, and used for internal review.

Cookies

A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's hard drive containing information about the user. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on our site. Once the user closes their browser, the cookie simply terminates. For instance, by setting a cookie on our site, the user would not have to log in a password more than once, thereby saving time while on our site. If a user rejects the cookie, they may still use our site. You can refuse cookies by turning them off in your browser, or by asking that your browser warn you prior to accepting cookies.

Log files

We use IP addresses to analyze trends, administer the site, track user's movements, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information.
